Here are some examples of how your donation to Tahlequah Area Habitat for Humanity can help build a house:
$50 for a roll of wall insulation (to help keep the family warm in the winter)
$54 for a box of nails (a basic necessity for building a house)
$84 for an interior door (to do homework in a quiet room)
$170 for a low-flow toilet (to help conserve water)
$200 for a window (to open for fresh air)
$200 for a kitchen sink (to clean the dishes)
$200 for mini blinds (for a family's privacy)
$250 for a front door (for security)
$700 for interior paint (to provide color and beauty in a room)
$750 for a water heater (for a warm bath)
$2,800 for appliances (to prepare a meal and do laundry)
Your material donations to the ReStore or Rack Clothing Store are another way to help give hope to those in need of a safe place to live.
TAHFH welcomes the gift of eyeglasses.
