#GivingTuesday 2025
Inspired by the idea to unite people through giving, the global movement Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 by Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. The idea was to harness the power of social media and the internet to connect and encourage people around the world to give back to their community during the Holiday Season. Then and now, givers are invited to take action to give through donations, volunteering, and acts of kindness.
ONLINE DONATIONS to Tahlequah Area Habitat for Humanity are always welcome.
You can also participate locally in this event by making a material donation to the ReStore Home Improvement Store or ReStore Rack Clothing Store.
As always, your donations support the construction of affordable homes for local, low-income families of Cherokee County, OK.
