The EXCITEMENT is BUILDING!

The Youth Lego Build Competition, which will take place on July 11 and 18, 2026, is an annual Tahlequah Area Habitat for Humanity event hosted at the Tahlequah Public Library. Builders ages 5 to 15 will have the chance to showcase their skills and build an affordable home for their mini-figure. They will only have one hour to complete their build, so it is best to be ready to go right on time! Although this is a FREE event, pre-registration is encouraged. Each builder who registers will receive a TAHFH Construction hat to keep! Designs will be judged on sturdiness, attention to detail, and creativity—and the stakes are high! Builders who are awarded will receive a Master Builder Certificate and a Lego Gift Card. Keep an eye on this page for more updates about this year’s competition!

Master Builders of all ages!

Below are last year’s Master Builders (MB) from each age category. Judges awarded three builders a MB Certificate and a $25 Lego Gift Card! One builder is awarded from each age category. The MB from ages 5 to 7 was Kade, ages 8 to 11 was Tommi, and 12 to 15 was Cohltrane! Each participant did an amazing job it was so fun to see everyone’s creations.
